B L Draper Treekeeping

B. L. Draper lives on a 5 acre bush block in northern Australia with one very spoiled dog, a rooster and a flock of chickens, and a man with a beard.

As a Sustainability Teacher at a rural school, helping run the school farm and sharing her love of the beautiful Australian bush with her students makes going to work a pleasure.

Having recently co-authored a fantasy Young Adult novel, B. L. is currently in the throes of writing a Middle Grade novel with an environmental theme in which she explores her long-held belief that trees are people too.

Any spare time is spent writing, bird watching, gardening, concocting herbal pesticides and accidentally breeding frogs in the dog bath.

She shares a website with her co-author at arielstone.com where they document their experiences on co-authoring novels from opposite ends of the Earth.
